1st Time Comrades Qualifier
Starting out as a small walk event around the Zwartkop High School athletics track in August 2012, the Run & Walk 4 Bibles has developed into to a fully fledged running and walking race, including 5 km, 10 km, 21 km and in 2019 for the first time a 42,2 km full marathon running the Old Wally Hayward route through the streets of Hennopspark, Centurion and Lyttleton. This will also be one of the first Comrades Qualifier races for 2020.
The idea of running or walking for a good cause has become an appealing and popular family fun event. 2016 was a GREAT year for the Run & Walk 4 Bibles AGN recognized half marathon. It was the 5th anniversary of this race and also the first Riana van Niekerk Run & Walk 4 Bibles as we payed tribute to the well-known athlete Riana van Niekerk. (18 June 1976 to 13 February 2016) The Run and Walk 4 Bibles will always by run in commemoration of Riana.

Uplifting the Community
The first Riana van Niekerk Run & Walk 4 Bibles was celebrated in 2016 with a special community project where we supplied needy athletes with running shoes, sweatshirts, caps, scarves and
T-shirts. The public supplied us with cash donations and brand new or second-hand running kits to be distributed.
Businesses and corporates can obtain a 18A Tax Certificate as well as B-BBEE Certificates for CSI Donations to Projects supported by this race.
